The Final Report on the Conservation of the Periyar – Agasthyamalai Landscape in the Southern Western Ghats : Knowledge Generation , Dissemination and Capacity Building for Key Stakeholders ( 2012 , Asian Nature Conservation Foundation ) has been completed and submitted . Along with the Final Report a Summary of Datasets and a Booklet for schools in the landscape were also compiled and submitted . All can be downloaded free from the Resources section of the website . Mr . Surendra Varma , Research Scientist , Asian Nature Conservation Foundation( ANCF )  , was invited by  the Nilgiri Natural History Society ( NNHS ) to give a talk on the ecology, management, conservation and welfare of the Asian Elephant. The talk was held at the Bee Museum in Ootacamund , Tamil Nadu on the 19th of December 2012.

At the request of the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation the Asian Nature Conservation Foundation  organized a study tour of south  India for training wildlife staff at the level of  Deputy Rangers in wildlife conservation and protected area management. The programme attempted to present the Indian experience in protected area management through classroom presentations and field visits.

In the month of September 2011 the Asian Nature Conservation Foundation (ANCF) welcomed a film crew from the Antwerp Zoo in Belgium. The Antwerp Zoo has been supporting our Land of the Elephant Programme, especially the planning and implementation of the Brahmagiri-Tirunelli Elephant Corridor project.

The event was held at the Alliance Francaise, Bangalore,  on  Friday, 10  February , 2011, from  6.00 pm.  Mr. Girish Karnad, eminent playwright and theatre personality, was the Chief Guest.
