Mysore Forest Division in Karnataka witnesses increasing incidents of crop-raiding by elephants that enter from the surrounding protected areas. At the request of the Forest Division, ANCF carried out a detailed investigation of the past and present status of conflict and evaluated the efficacy of the existing mitigation efforts and made recommendations aimed at upgrading protection and mitigation measures.
